The dictionary contains 12,908 terms with more than 4,000 cross-references that are commonly used in communication theory, practice and education. It is well known that communications represent universal practice and rapidly developing theory and technology. This dictionary covers all fields relating to technical communications: communication theory; communication devices and systems; computer communications; satellite communications; fiber optics; radio and television communications; communication networks; telegraphy, telephony and facsimile; information theory; information systems; coding theory; data conversion, processing and transmission; telemetry; transmission maintenance security and cryptography.
