BMJ 10 Minute Consultations: Primary Care

For the past two decades or more traditional general practice consultation appointment periodshave been ten minutes. In any one day a general practitioner may have thirty or moreconsultations. This presents many challenges and requires the general practitioner to befocussed and efficient with time.
