The Studhorse Man

Set in post-war Alberta, the story follows Hazard Lepage, the last of the studhorse men, on his chaotic quest to breed his rare blue stallion, Poseidon. Narrated by his rival Demeter Proudfoot from an empty bathtub, the tale unfolds with outrageous adventures and a blend of mythic elements reminiscent of a Greek odyssey. Hazard's journey is filled with anarchy, romance, and the pursuit of preserving his stallion's bloodline, all while navigating the complexities of love and rivalry in a vibrant, evolving landscape.
