The East European Conferences on Advances in Databases and Information Systems (ADBIS) serves as a prestigious platform for sharing cutting-edge research in data management. It fosters collaboration among database researchers, practitioners, developers, and users from East Europe and beyond. This volume presents the proceedings from the 11th ADBIS Conference, held in Varna, Bulgaria, from September 29 to October 3, 2007. The conference featured three keynote talks, 36 research papers across 13 sessions, and two tutorials. Twenty-three research papers, along with extended abstracts for the keynote talks, are included in this volume, while other papers are published in local proceedings. The keynote speakers were distinguished figures in database and information retrieval. Timos Sellis examined the lifecycle of ETL workflows, providing insights into specification and optimized execution, along with future challenges. Gerhard Weikum discussed the emergence of various "Webs" and their potential for knowledge harvesting and search. Lastly, Paolo Atzeni tackled the challenges of schema and data translation within emerging model management systems, highlighting significant research opportunities.
