Más información sobre el libro

Some individuals strikingly resemble the art they are viewing, and Stefan Draschan has developed a unique perspective on these picturesque correspondences. While exploring the museums of Europe, Draschan captured the similarities between artworks and their viewers, noting matching colors, patterns, hairstyles, or postures. His work creates astonishing visual moments that can be comic, poetic, or surprising, yet never feel contrived. This series, initiated in 2015, began with photo competitions by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin and the magazine art–Das Kunstmagazin. It quickly gained traction online, with millions of likes and shares across Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagram. Following this success, exhibitions were held, and the latest images from the series are now featured in a light-hearted gift book. Draschan, born in Austria in 1979, is a photographer, bicycle activist, and flaneur, commuting between Vienna, Berlin, Naples, and Paris. In addition to the People Matching Artworks series, he has created other popular photo blogs, including People Sleeping in Museums, People Touching Artworks, and Cars Matching Homes.
