Now, in response to repeated requests from parents, Gallup has created a strengths assessment program specifically for young people. "StrengthsExplorer For Ages 10 to 14" was developed with the renowned rigor and expertise of Gallup researchers, many of whom participated in the development of StrengthsFinder for adults. The program is a fun, simple way for adolescents to discover and develop their own unique gifts and abilities. An ID code allows teens to access a specially designed website. Then, by answering a series of questions about themselves, they learn about their strengths. An activity-filled workbook helps them focus on those strengths, while a parent's guide suggests ways that parents can learn more about their child's abilities and encourage their continued development.
