The Secession exhibition of 1901 was the high point Viennas involvement with the famous French sculptor. The present catalogue looks at the history of the annual Secession shows, Rodins skilful use of the media and the exhibitions, his influence on Austrian art and also the masterpieces that have been in the Belvedere collection since then.
