A Galaxy of Whales

The story follows eleven-year-old Fern as she navigates the challenges of her father's death, a distant friendship, and a struggling family business. Amidst her struggles, she forms a meaningful bond with neighbor Jasper. Together, they embark on a journey to capture the beauty of an endangered pod of killer whales for a photography contest, discovering friendship and healing along the way.
