It has been extensively revised to reflect the relevant provisions of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 and other recent legal developments. The author is a practising barrister; he is a chartered surveyor (Percy Wilkinson and Beadel prizeman) and an honorary member of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.
