While I share my life story here, I remain fully aware of the fact that it is not possible for just one individual's experience to paint a detailed picture of the extent of how much the whole nation had suffered. Nonetheless, I hold a strong faith in my heart that what I put on record here in this book will contribute in one way or the other in informing and enlightening the readers what an ordinary Tibetan like me had to endure and hopefully shed some light on an important period in our history.
