The efforts by the Jigawa state government policy for 50 meters distance between farms and major roads and 30 meters between farms and state roads on recurring scramble for scarce ecosystem resources is commendable in the study area. Multi - stage random sampling method was employed to select 80 respondents for this study, which include 40 farmers and 40 pastoralists. Data were analyzed using simple descriptive statistics which include frequencies and percentages. Types of Animal Kept by the Respondents (cattle and other small ruminants).Relationship between Farmers and Herders is cordial between farmers and pastoralists in the area. Timely Harvesting and Place of Storage for Crop Residue by the Respondents. Thirty meters Proximity of Farmlands to Grazing Reserves, Cattle Routes and Livestock Watering Points. Majority of the respondents had adopt the state policy on fifty meters distance of their farms closed to livestock watering points, grazing reserved, and to cattle routes.
