A two part book that aims to help develop peoples' ability to evaluate scientific evidence. Part 1 gives an overview of methods and principles relevant to the practice of critiquing research. Part 2 consists of 16 realistic yet fictional texts. Written in a journal article format, they give the opportunity to practice critical evaluation skills in the context of psychological research; each article has an accompanying critique. At the back of the book, there is a glossary of terms related to statistics and research.
