Más información sobre el libro
Munchausen is the ultimate fantastic liar, a blend of magician, entertainer, and charming rogue. In this retelling, Heinz Janisch presents the best-known Munchausen stories with humor and whimsy, offering a lighter take on these classic tales. Alongside familiar adventures, Janisch introduces never-before-heard stories recently uncovered among the Baron’s possessions. This raises the question: is there truly new Munchausen material, or is Janisch simply adding his own magic and mischief to the mix, enhancing the tall tales even further? Regardless, the thrill and enjoyment of the stories shine through. Aljoscha Blau's illustrations vividly bring Munchausen's extraordinary journeys to life, captivating both children and adults alike. Heinz Janisch, born in Austria in 1960, studied German literature in Vienna and has authored numerous books, including many for children, translated into over twelve languages. He has received several nominations for prestigious awards and won the Austrian picture book award in 2008. Aljoscha Blau, born in 1972 in St. Petersburg and residing in Germany since 1990, studied art in Hamburg and has been recognized with multiple awards for his work, which has been exhibited internationally. He currently lives in Berlin with his family.
