In this poignant account, we are introduced to the victims of the day that has come to be known as Bloody Sunday. On January 30th, 1972, the British Army deployed the 1st Parachute Regiment to conduct an arrest operation in Derry during a Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association march. Twenty-six civil rights protesters were shot, and 14 died—a photographer, a golfer, a student, a prankster, and 10 other boys and men who we learn are very much like any fathers, sons, brothers, and friends.
