Dr.-Ing. Erwin Baur, born in 1931 in Ulm, has made significant contributions to radar technology. He studied physics at the Technische Hochschule Stuttgart from 1951 to 1957 and began his career at AEG-TELEFUNKEN in Ulm in 1957. He earned his doctorate from the Technische Hochschule Darmstadt in 1964 and currently leads a system technology department in the High-Frequency Technology division at AEG-TELEFUNKEN. Since 1979, he has also served as a lecturer in radar technology at the Institute for High-Frequency Technology at the University of Hannover. This work, published by B. G. Teubner in Stuttgart in 1985, is part of the Teubner Studienskripten series and includes 105 images and 6 tables.
