Más información sobre el libro

Disclaimer: Unlike most litRPG novels, this story does not involve a character trapped in an RPG. Instead, it features a fantasy world akin to those in RPGs, where the protagonist utilizes a 'stat device' to gain stat points for abilities like Speed and Toughness. Mage specializations draw inspiration from RPG and DnD classes such as Paladins and Necromancers. Barry, an ordinary man without magical powers, has long aspired to become a mage. After years of studying magic, he discovers a way to achieve his dream: winning a deadly free-for-all tournament against the world's most formidable mages. The tournament occurs on a hidden continent filled with mythical creatures and remnants of an advanced civilization whose magical devices are still in use. Lacking magical abilities, Barry must rely on a stat booster that absorbs ambient magical energy to convert it into stat points. By enhancing his Speed, Reflexes, and Premonition, he gains supernatural abilities crucial for survival against seasoned mages. As the series unfolds, Barry interacts with fellow participants, forming friendships and rivalries while uncovering the continent's history. He learns of "The Creator," who established harmonious utopias six centuries ago, now facing decline. Barry must confront the moral dilemma of intervening in the land's struggles, risking his tournament participation and dream.
