The book covers from the early days of the Banjaluka-Doberlin Military Railway and the Serbian State Railways down to the 1973 JZ fleet. Of particular interest are the varied engines acquired after World War II from the DRB, PKP, FS, MAV, kkstB, Sudbahn and other foreign lines. Book is divided into 6 locomotives up to 1918, locomotives transferred to SHS after 1918, JDZ numbering scheme from 1933, electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, and railcars.
