Your main antagonist is Fury Bowser, who periodically wreaks havoc. The game offers 100 Cat Shines to collect, with each island containing five. After clearing an island, revisit it later for new objectives and hints. Exploring other islands becomes essential as they unlock following Fury Bowser's defeat. When you collect a Cat Shine, a power-up appears on a tower. Climb to the top and ground-pound the shiny spot to acquire a power-up, with a maximum of five stored for each type. You won't be able to gather all Cat Shines before the final battle, but after defeating Fury Bowser, return to Lake Lapcat and consult Bowser Jr. for information on the remaining Shines.
