Más información sobre el libro
This book is aimed at newcomers to Korea and the Korean language as well as those Koreans who would like to teach their language to their foreign friends. Koreans, being native speakers of their language, often do not realize the difficulties that non-Koreans face in learning this language. As the first non-Asian ever to get a Master's Degree in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language from a Korean university, Stephen Revere has been hosting Arirang TV's Let's Speak Korean since graduating in 2004. Based on his experience studying Korean for almost a decade now, Stephen has created a study guide that demystifies the Korean language and culture. While most Korean books simply leave students with more questions, Survival Korean anticipates the essential grammatical, semantical and cultural problems that non-Koreans, especially Western learners, will face. Survival Korean provides clear explanations, common examples and entertaining cultural lessons to help learners understand Korean thinking as well as the language. Along with the book, tapes of the natural conversations read by professional voice actors are included. Survival Korean makes an ideal course book, is great for language exchanges or even for self-study.
