Más información sobre el libro

Two missionaries, separated by six decades and two very different wars. One common goal... which could very well cost them everything. In August 1944 an American chaplain named Bob Evans was wounded during the southern invasion of France. As he recuperated in a military hospital in a small French village, Bob was struck by a realization: despite its Christian roots, Europe desperately needed the hope that only a relationship with Jesus could bring. Sixty-six years later, a missionary named Jazz Jones followed in Bob Evans's footsteps, obeying God's call to offer hope to a new generation of Europeans. On an otherwise normal night in Paris, while she was watching a soccer game with friends, the stadium was shaken by explosions unleashed by ISIS terrorists. In the aftermath of her brush with danger, Jazz wrestled with guilt and fear. Was her obedience worth it? She could serve God anywhere, so why Europe? These two stories are separated by decades but connected by a common goal: seeing the people of Europe reached with the gospel, no matter the cost. As Bob planted seeds of the gospel among people he encountered during his recovery, God planted seeds in Bob's heart as well... to become a missionary in France. Out of the devastation of war, a gospel movement was born and a new missions organization, Greater Europe Mission, was founded.
