Against the enchanting yet terrifying backdrop of the East, Ai-uan, a young Chinese of an ancient tribe, is sent by his family to Japan, where he falls in love with Tama, an extraordinary female figure of the Far East. The war between China and Japan breaks out, and Ai-uan, despite having tender feelings for his new family, feels compelled to return to China to fight against the enemy: his dilemma is terrible, caught between the purest feelings and the honor of a soldier.
