Grada Kilomba es una artista interdisciplinaria y escritora cuyo trabajo aborda la memoria, el trauma, la raza, el género y la descolonización del conocimiento. Crea intencionalmente un espacio híbrido entre el lenguaje académico y el artístico, utilizando la narración como elemento central de sus prácticas decoloniales. Kilomba es conocida por su uso subversivo y poco convencional de métodos artísticos, dando cuerpo, voz e imagen a sus propios textos, una práctica que denomina Performing Knowledge, a través de formatos como la performance, la instalación y el cine.
