Caly comenzó a dibujar en el jardín de infancia y descubrió el manga a los 12 años. Tras cursar estudios en artes aplicadas, esta joven diseñadora aspira ahora a un título en Comunicación Visual. Comenzó a desarrollar su serie MaHo-Megumi en 2007, y al año siguiente se dedicó a la autopublicación. Reconocida como "Estrella de Fanzines" por la revista Animeland, ha conseguido un contrato para su nuevo manga shojo, Hana No Breath, una historia presentada en dos volúmenes.
