    • In Germany 1990, a disturbing reality unfolds as young men in old SS uniforms romanticize the Holocaust, engage in violent acts against refugees, and collaborate with war criminals to establish a new Reich. Their propaganda, including Holocaust denial literature and bomb manuals, originates from white-power extremists across the U.S. This narrative centers on Ingo Hasselbach, the "Fuhrer of the East," who grew up in the German Democratic Republic as the son of Communist elites. After rebelling against the state and serving time in prison, he was influenced by a former Gestapo chief to believe in a Jewish conspiracy destroying Germany. Released in 1988, Hasselbach founded Germany's first neo-Nazi political party and led a violent extremist group for five years, engaging in street fights and planning terrorist acts. However, witnessing the consequences of his actions—the suffering of refugees—sparked a profound transformation. Doubting the Holocaust revisionism he had promoted, he sought the truth about the genocide and recognized the lies he had embraced. In 1993, he publicly renounced neo-Nazism and dedicated himself to preventing others from following his path, speaking to students and Jewish communities. His efforts were met with hostility, including a mail bomb from former associates, forcing him into hiding amidst ongoing death threats.
