Kniha Metamorfóza ľadu je fotografická kniha zaoberajúca sa rôznorodosťou štruktúr ľadu a prináša svojský, originálny a doteraz neznámy pohľad na jednu z najbežnejších látok na zemskom povrchu. Hlavná časť knihy prezentuje a detailne dokumentuje ľadové útvary vyskytujúce sa v starých banských dielach v Hodruši a Banskej Štiavnici. Jedná sa predovšetkým o ľadové stalagmity a ich fascinujúce metamorfózy v dôsledku ich topenia. Rôznorodosť zachytených abstraktných štruktúr je rozsiahla a v mnohých prípadoch fotografie vôbec nepripomínajú ľad. Krásu ľadu doplňujú samostatné dve kapitoly.
