This Resource Book provides: Further written practice of the grammar presented in the Student's Book; Further listening exercises for home or classroom use; A wide range of authentically-based reading texts, chosen from a variety of sources. A separate cassette provides recordings of all the listening practice materials as well as some of the extensive reading texts.

New Performance is a two-part course specifically designed for the biennio of the Scuola secondaria superiore, structured for use with false beginners as well as with students learning English for the first time. Each level of New Performance consists of a Student's Book, a Resource Book, a Teacher's Guide with tests, class cassettes and student's cassette and the exciting new VT/Video. This Resource Book contains, in addition to further grammar exercises and communication activities, a section devoted to use of language and pronunciation practice, as well as new reading and listening materials for work on civita.
