Aunque con un argumento a priori bastante interesante, el desarrollo de la acción me ha parecido excesivamente lento. Los personajes nos van narrando la historia desde su punto de vista personal, perdiéndose en pensamientos y divagaciones que, en la mayoría de las ocasiones, no llevan a ningún lugar. Su lectura me ha resultado tremendamente aburrida. Debo reconocer que he terminado la novela más por pura cabezonería que por otra cosa, y en un par de ocasiones estuve tentado de abandonarla definitivamente.
