To historia, którą opowiada kilka osób po kolei. Każdy dodaje coś od siebie, ale nie pomija nic z tego, co już zostało opowiedziane. Ta ballada mówi o tym, co przez kilka dni pewne dziecko napotykało w drodze ze szkoły do domu. A także o tym, jak jego mały świat nagle stał się bardzo duży. Es ist ein apokalyptischer Endkampf, den Blexbolex in diesem literarisch-künstlerischen Meisterwerk beschreibt. Auf der einen Seite steht die allmächtige Banks Inc. und deren Spion, der Ich-Erzähler der Geschichte. Auf der anderen der Gestiefelte Kater und Gregory Rabbit, nicht unbedingt sympathische Typen, die das Reich der Phantasie und der Kreavität verteidigen. Beiden Seiten ist jedes Mittel recht. Blexbolex ist als Künstler vor allem mit fröhlichen Kinderbüchern bekannt geworden, doch schon lange hat er auch düstere Underground-Comics bebildert. Mit Niemandsland hat er seine erste große Graphic Novel gestaltet, eine düstere Bestandsaufnahme der Mythen unserer Zeit: Politische Verschwörungen, Bankenmacht, Geheimdienste, Krieg, esoterische Religionen – überall führt sich unsere Kultur ad absurdum. Die Kunst, die dies darzustellen versucht, wird zwangsläufig selbst absurd. Dies wiederum lässt uns die ironische Hoffnung, dass all das Grauen, mit dem wir täglich in den Medien konfrontiert sind, gar nicht wahr ist. Vielleicht ist die Welt selbst ja nur so etwas wie das Grand Guignol, das brutale Kasperletheater für Erwachsene, das die französische Tradition kennt. Blexbolex verwirrt uns jedenfalls mit allen unseren Sinnen.
