In 2008, tired of going abroad on holiday and realising just how little he knew about the country he lived in, Sean Conway decided to take a month off to explore it. He bought a bike online and cycled the iconic Land's End to John O'Groats, solo and unsupported. Sean faced cold nights, wet days, and spent nearly a month by himself. It turned out to be the adventure of a lifetime and ignited his fire for endurance cycling.10 years later Sean would go on to break the world record for cycling across Europe.
