Kolektivní monografie věnovaná různým formám vztahu mezi obrazem a zvukem, respektive mezi výtvarným uměním a hudbou.Jednotlivé kapitoly se zabývají obrazem a zvukem v českém a československém výtvarném umění, zkoumají recepci mezinárodního hnutí Fluxus ve zdejším prostředí, zaměřují se i na nekodifikované modely hudební notace či na grafické partitury v tvorbě hudebníků a výtvarníků. Nechybí ani text o tématu akustické ekologie. Druhá část publikace představuje výběr českých i zahraničních umělců, kteří ve 20. a 21. století experimentovali ve své tvorbě se zvukem jako inspirací pro vizuální tvorbu.

Současná akceleracionistická filozofie čím dál více slouží jako jistý bod propojení, který v sobě propojuje různorodé pokusy o přeformulování dřímajících společenských možností, odcizených kánonů, i mimolidské estetiky, které v současném diskurzu rezonují. V kontextu těchto probíhajících debat chceme vznést následující otázky: Jakým způsobem můžeme, tváří v tvář společenským výzvám i širému prostoru dalekého vesmíru, smysluplně působit? Jak odhodit pouta současnosti? Jaké jsou možnosti a podmínky spekulativního a akceleracionistického diskurzu, a jaké výsledky můžeme od takového projektu očekávat? Toto je smysl Reinventing Horizons. The current state of accelerationist philosophy increasingly appears to serve as a point of coalescence for various attempts at redefining diverse potentialities, estranged objectivities and inhumanisms which circulate the contemporary discourse. We attempt to add to these discourses by asking the following questions. What can we do within the confines of present conditions, while facing these challenges, agencies and vast spaces beyond? How can we unbind the shackles of the present? What are the possibilities and conditions of speculative and accelerationist discourses, and what are the investments and aspirations for such an endeavour? That is what we mean by Reinventing Horizons.

Oscillating between the algorithmic & the representational, the human agent navigates its environmental niche in a way which is conducive to its further psychological, social, & biological existence. Yet how transparent & how predetermined is such a dynamic? Where are the points of contact, friction & overlap within the variegated pulls & counteractive fl ows inherent in the choreography of the "democracy of objects," & how conducive is such an ecology of relations to the continuing survival of the human, here understood as an intersectional juncture between the biological, technological, cultural, semiotic etc?

V úvodním textu manifestu Xenofeminismus: Politika odcizení se kolektiv Laboria Cuboniks (založen 2014) zastává feminismu, který by byl současně „racionalismem“, a nabádá feministické myšlení k uzurpaci mocenských nástrojů ve prospěch univerzální vzájemnosti. (Xeno)Feminsitická Čítanka nabízí výběr textů, které ohledávají odkaz XF v letech následujících původní publikaci manifestu – řeší vztah feminismu k technologiím, zkoumají roli genderu ve tvorbě současnosti, sdílí zájem o informovanou analýzu moci a řeší možnosti tkvící v lidské schopnosti péče. XF i nadále zůstává jedním ze zásadních směrů genderové a feministické teorie, a vybrané eseje v přijatelné jazykové mutaci navazují na jeho současné odezvy v českém prostředí.

The publication 'Introduction to Comparative Planetology' by Lukáš Likavčan presents an intertwined analysis of visual cultures of imagining the Earth and geopolitcs of climate emergency.It compares different 'figures' of the planet - teh Planetary, the Globe, the Terrestrial, Earth-without-us and Spectral Earth - in order to access their geopolitical implications. These implications are then mapped on respective prospects of these figures in developing an infrastructural space for planetary coordination of our design interventions against runaway global heating, and ultimately against mass specis extinction.
