Výbor ze čtyř básnických sbírek Hermora Lilii (Františka Bíbla), které byly původně vydány v nepatrných nákladech malým kladenským nakladatelstvím mezi lety 1917–1931, si bere za cíl připomenout tohoto „zapomenutého básníka“, jehož objevil Jiří Kolář a snažili se udržet v kulturní paměti mj. Ivan Diviš a Ivan Slavík. Jedinečná osobitost Liliovy poezie, navenek sonorně jednotvárná, zevnitř neobyčejně členitá, spočívá zejména v jejím jazyce, ve zvláštní syntaxi vyjadřující „nespojitou spojitost“ evokovaných dějů a roměnu skupenství i všemožné stavy „mezi“, obsahuje i bohatý rejstřík novotvarů. Texty odkazují ke skutečným, tj. „duchovým“ substrátům skutečnosti, skrytým pod jevovou stránkou nazíranou našimi smysly.
