Původně to bylo 31 rozjímání na každý den měsíce května, ovšem později připojila dalších šest kapitol a z knížky se tak stala časově neomezená příručka každodenního duchovního života, který se projevuje věrností nejsvětější Vůli Boží vždy a za všech okolností.
