William L. Langer

    William Leonard Langer fue un historiador especializado en la diplomacia de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Graduado de la Universidad de Harvard, enseñó en la Universidad de Clark antes de aceptar un nombramiento en la Universidad de Harvard, donde finalmente se convirtió en jefe del departamento de historia. Estuvo de permiso durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial como jefe de la Rama de Investigación y Análisis de la Oficina de Servicios Estratégicos, y se desempeñó como presidente de la Asociación Histórica Estadounidense en 1957.
