Jedným z najdôležitejších objavov vnútorného života je, že existuje iba „jedna“ láska a že táto jediná láska, ako v panenstve, tak aj v manželstve sa má uskutočňovať dokonalým spôsobom. Tieto slová napísal Igino Giordani v roku 1939 a zdá sa, akoby boli uskoreným „komentárom“ ku Gaudium et spes (1965) či naznačovali línie kresťanskej spirituality pre tretie tisícročie. To je Giordani: človek vedľa ľudí (manžel a otec, politik a spisovateľ) a prorok (učenec a muž ducha). Igino Giordani, 1894 - 1980, lernt von seinem Vater das Handwerk des Maurers, wird durch seine Erfahrung im Ersten Weltkrieg zu einem Vorkämpfer für den Frieden, Vater von vier Kindern, kämpferischer Journalist, anerkannter Schriftsteller (Autor von über 100 Werken, die in viele Sprachen übersetzt wurden), engagierter Politiker (zunächst an der Seite von Don Sturzo, dann von De Gasperi), Laie im Dienst an der Kirche, Mitbegründer der Fokolar-Bewegung, doch vor allem und in allem ein Mensch auf der Suche nach einer Gesellschaft im Zeichen der Liebe.
