V tejto rozsiahlej knižnej zbierke nájdete démonov (jókai), duchov a zjavenia (júrei), duchov v hrách kabuki, čarodejníkov (jodžucuši), diablov či čertov (oni) a duše hľadajúce pomstu (onrjó) – mýtické javy a bytosti z folklóru a ľudovej kultúry, ktoré dodnes nadchýnajú čitateľov tradičných príbehov či komiksov manga.
