Born in 1950, Astrid Mørland was predominantly influenced by the 1970s growing up. The art sphere of the 1970s was epitomized by a wish to grow and strengthen itself, as a reaction to the many tensions of the previous decade. The earliest ideas of environmentalism bounced from Land Art, which took art into earth itself, sculpting the land and bringing art to the outdoors. Astrid Mørland examines the balance between open and closed, and lets the body be a symbol of this communication. Within this subject-matter, she chooses to vary the artistic medium in order to explore and gain new perspectives, moving from painting to drawing and installations. In the last three years, she has focused on man's and nature's interconnection. If this connection disappears, everything in our ecosystem will be destroyed. With her work she aims to show how important it is to take care of endangered animals, nature and insects.

Der inhaltlich stringente Sammelband beschreitet eine doppelte Kontextualisierungsstrategie: Zunächst werden die Rahmenbedingungen der Zeit Johann Jakob Wettsteins bedacht, in denen er sein wissenschaftliches Oeuvre verfasst hat. Das geschieht in zweierlei Hinsicht: zum einen in Beiträgen, die im strengen Sinn Aspekte aus der Vita Wettsteins analysieren und solchen, die in einem weiteren Bogen den kulturgeschichtlichen Kontext des 18. Jahrhunderts deuten. Zum anderen wird der Ertrag aus Wettsteins religionsgeschichtlicher Arbeitsweise für die Exegese der Apostelgeschichte zur Geltung gebracht. Die dabei verwendeten Voraussetzungen ähneln insoweit denjenigen aus dem ersten Block, als sie den kulturhistorischen Verstehensrahmen im Hellenismus der neutestamentlichen Zeitgeschichte gewinnbringend analysieren. So vereint die Person J. J. Wettstein alte und neue kulturhistorische Arbeit am Neuen Testament. Dabei treten vor allem die Kapitel 1–9 in den Vordergrund. Wettsteins innovative kulturhistorische Arbeitsweise wird für die Exegese der Apostelgeschichte fruchtbar gemacht und um zahlreiche neue Aspekte erweitert. Die Beiträge sind weitestgehend während zweier Tagungen in Halle (Saale) 2011 und in Leuven (2013) gehalten und durch weitere ergänzt worden. Wipfler. This focused collection of articles presents two ways for contextualizing Johann Jakob Wettstein’s famous Novum Testamentum Graece. The first approach studies the intellectual and cultural framework in which Wettstein’s oeuvre was produced and originally received, which includes both historical and art-historical components. The second approach studies its reception in the history of exegesis, mainly on the basis of specific passages from Acts 1–9. The volume illustrates the assets of Wettstein’s innovative cultural-historical take on the biblical material and its influence on the exegesis of the Book of Acts up till today. The larger part of the essays were originally presented at conferences in Halle/Saale (2011) and Leuven (2013). They have all been revised and updated for publication and are complemented by some new ones.

Prof. Dr. Manfred Lang founded the International Education Centre for Dental Implantology IFZI in Nuremberg, Germany, in 1995, educating over 5000 dentists globally. Throughout his extensive career in Implantology, he has made numerous inventions and holds several patents. Notably, in 1998, he created the Sinus-Implant-Stabiliser (SIS) and the Swing-Lift instrument set. A significant achievement was the patenting of the Sky-Implant-System in 2002, which is now distributed by Bredent medical in over 50 countries, with more than 50,000 SkyImplants inserted worldwide by 2009. Lang's most important development for the future of dental implantology is the "Implant Phantom Simulator," which facilitates practical surgical and prosthetic training on artificial patients. After three years of development, the structured training program has trained over 400 dentists globally between 2006 and 2009. This concept is expected to be integrated into pre- and post-graduate training in German universities and other associations. The training has already been adopted in foreign universities, such as in Poznan, Poland. In 2009, he introduced a sinus retractor that enhances efficiency during sinus-lift surgeries. Additionally, the new classification of dental implantology established during the 1997 Consensus Conference in Frankfurt is based on his concept, replacing earlier indication classes. Oskar der zweite Krieger konnte nicht mehr anhalten und prallte hart gegen Olafs Rücken. Die ohnehin vom vielen Hinfallen schon arg blaue Nase stieß schmerzhaft gegen Olafs Schulter. Ein gellender Schmerzensschrei entfuhr ihm. Genau wie Oskar erging es den hinter ihnen ebenfalls heranbrausenden Kameraden, Odin, Oswald und Otto. Alle stießen sich ihre Nasen an dem jeweilig vor ihnen stehenden Kameraden.
