Focusing on the innovative use of Reinforced Fiber Glass Polymers (GFRP) in bridge construction, the research explores the potential of composite materials for future structures. It highlights the combination of steel main beams with GFRP decks, referencing the ASSET system as a model. The study includes detailed analyses such as DTA, spectroscopy, and microscopy to evaluate the flexural strength of GFRP panels. The findings suggest that fiber composites offer advantages like increased durability, corrosion resistance, and lightweight properties, making them a viable alternative to traditional materials.
