Walking the Dog, Lying on the Sofa is a collection of Andreas Eriksson's poetic work, printed on colour fold-outs, whose point of departure and content is the experience of nature. The artist captures impressions from his daily walks walking the dog as well as the shadows in his house at night lying on the sofa with his photography and combines that with abstract paintings to form composite works. Eriksson's sculptures are based on bronze casts of natural objects dead birds that have flown into his atelier window or trees with which he creates metaphors of becoming and passing away.
