Naomi S. Baron is Professor Emerita of Linguistics of American University in Washington, DC. A Guggenhaim Fellow, Fulbright Fellow, and Fulbright Specialist, she has also been a Visiting Scholar at the Stanford Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences.
