Eve Dallas and her partner, Peabody, investigate a brutal crime involving the murder of an elderly grocery owner by three drugged youths. This case marks a significant moment for Peabody, who is now the primary detective, stepping into a new role of authority and responsibility, having learned from Eve. After apprehending the suspects, Peabody finds herself in a precarious situation. Eager to enhance her fitness, she decides to work out at a seldom-used gym at Central.
