Harry Feversham receives orders to join his battalion in North Africa just as he is about to celebrate his wedding. Reluctantly, he declines to answer the call, and the night before his wedding, he receives three feathers, a clear accusation of cowardice, which is soon joined by a fourth feather from his fiancée. Determined to redeem himself, he decides to venture out on his own to assist his comrades, leading him into a series of thrilling adventures.
