Emerging from fragmented notes shared with family and friends, this booklet reflects on a time preceding significant global upheavals, including floods, pandemics, and war. The author, now retired due to poor eyesight, reignited a passion for literature, leading to the compilation of these writings. The English translation has been refined and expanded, while the original German version is accessible as an audiobook accompanied by music.
