Más información sobre el libro
Focusing on over five centuries of Argentine history, Ezequiel Adamovsky emphasizes the often-overlooked experiences of women, Indigenous communities, and marginalized groups. He critiques Spanish colonization's detrimental impacts, including gender oppression and violence linked to the Catholic Church, while tracing economic shifts from the encomienda system to industrialization. The narrative covers key events like Argentina's independence, the rise of Peronism, military coups, and the neoliberal reforms of the 1980s, making it a vital resource for understanding the nation's complex past.
