The story follows Jack and Nate as they attempt to create a perfect summer adventure to counter their ex-boyfriends' seemingly idyllic relationship showcased on social media. Their plans are complicated by a road trip in a van with Nate's dysfunctional family and the awkwardness of their strained friendship. As they navigate a series of comedic mishaps while posting as @TheHeartBreakBoys, both begin to realize that the real remedy for their heartaches might be found in each other.
