The weaving of the Turkoman, Kirghiz, Uzbek, Karakalpak, Baluch, and Kazakh tribes is preserved in the leading Soviet museums — the Hermitage, the Russian Museum of Ethnography of the Peoples of the USSR in Leningrad, and the Museum of Oriental Art in Moscow.
