Más información sobre el libro

The birds that dominate the planet ZRP 14 are not like those known on Earth, but rather wonderful beings with the highest intelligence in the universe. They have allowed humans to settle and expand their civilization while retaining control of the skies. Thus, the city of Carrig has flourished near a great river and in the center of an exceptionally fertile land, with the descendants of refugees who came to the planet long ago having forgotten their origins. Caravans of traders travel from all remote corners of this world to Carrig to trade and witness the great hunt, a violent and cruel trial used by the city's people to select their rulers. However, this peaceful balance and distribution of power are suddenly threatened by the appearance of new masters, conquerors with invincible and deadly weapons, who seek to claim the planet and its radioactive resources. Only a thin thread of hope remains for the freedom of Carrig, a thread connected to the fate of a high-ranking young man, Saikmar, and a beautiful Earth spy from the Galactic Corps, Maddalena: only their courage and the unity between birds and humans can save the planet from the tyranny of the invaders.
