Catherine Lucille Moore, born in 1911 in Indianapolis, began her prolific storytelling career in 1930 with the pulp magazine Amazing Stories. Throughout the 1930s, she contributed numerous stories to the magazine and later collaborated extensively with her husband, Henry Kuttner.
