Miloslav Stibor (1927–2011) is regarded as a significant figure and a classic of post-war Czech photography, particularly in the fields of nudes and portraiture. His influence is evident in numerous books and exhibitions on the history of Czech photography. Throughout his life, he organized over 140 solo exhibitions. As an educator, he contributed to the field of photography from the mid-1950s, developing a comprehensive teaching methodology that combined theory with practice, which became a model for photography instruction in various art schools across the country. His book, "Photography for Folk Art Schools," was widely used by both amateurs and professionals until the advent of digital photography. This publication is released in 2021 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the author's passing.
