Más información sobre el libro
In a cathedral city in the 1870s, shaped by the grand cathedral and its impressive dean Adam Ayscough, who has a deep love for his parishioners and townspeople. However, the shy, eccentric old dean lives in seclusion... until an unknown watchmaker, the anxious little Isaac Peabody, a brilliant craftsman, forms an unlikely friendship with the dean. This leads to an unusual spiritual awakening for both men and a remarkable realization for the dean about the healing power of selfless love; and to the wonders that occur when he turns to others to comfort them. Ultimately, this impacts the entire community. In the background are Polly and her beloved Job, Bella, and the elderly Mrs. Montague.
