This series of 16 books for adults covers the four skill areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing at four levels, elementary, intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced. The series maintains the traditional division of language use into the four skills, but they are never treated in isolation. In each book, the skill being dealt with serves as the focus of attention and is always interwoven with, and supported by, other skills.
